Dudu Mthethwa is studying towards a National Diploma in Textile Technology, with the support of a bursary from The CTFL Seta. She has completed her second year of studies and is currently working in the Quality Assurance Department monitoring and analysing process compliance to quality standards and recommending process improvements.

Prilla's commitment to quality extends to its far-sighted training and incentive programmes for personnel, which motivates and encourages self-improvement.

The company's social responsibility programmes include adult education classes, ranging from basic literacy skills to higher education (for which Prilla offers financial support). HIV-management programmes run through Prilla's on-site occupational health clinic that include voluntary HIV-testing, counseling and the provision of anti-retrovirals when necessary.
